2018-2019 RAND Formative Feedback Sneak Peek

A sneak preview of the RAND 2018-2019 formative feedback reports was recently released, and we wanted to share some of the glows before your site receives its full report.


Thank you for your hard work and dedication to making Palm Beach County a model community for social, emotional and academic learning where, through collaboration, equity and inclusivity, all children, youth and adults have the opportunity to reach their fullest potential to succeed in school, work and life.
In 2018-2019, 

  • Ninety-two percent of school day and out-of-school time (OST) staff across PSELI Phase 1 sites reported that SEL professional development experiences changed the way they interact with students.
  • Ninety-five percent of school day and OST staff across PSELI Phase 1 sites reported they believe teachers/staff in their school feel responsible for promoting students’ social and emotional skills.
  • Ninety-seven percent of school day and OST staff across PSELI Phase 1 sites reported feeling confident they can help students develop social and emotional competencies.
